Shelley Campbell brings a wealth of experience across corporate, private and public sectors—including with libraries and nonprofit organizations. Along with her daughter Jennifer, who volunteered at a Lubuto Library in 2010, Shelley has had a long and close relationship with Lubuto over the years. She was recently Board Director for the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, serving on the Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Education and Outreach Committees. Prior to this, Shelley worked at West Chicago Public Library, Town House Books, St. Charles Public Library and Mobil Oil Corporation. She is a past member of ISLMA (Monarch Award Reading Committee) and IRC (Prairie State Award Committee)—and was formerly President of the Library Administrative Council of Northern Illinois Youth Services Section Board and member of ALA, ALSC, PLA, USBBY and the League of American Orchestras. Shelley holds a Certificate of Graduate Study in Children’s and Young Adult Literature from Northern Illinois University, an MBA in Marketing/Operations Management from Lewis University and a BS in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University.
