Annual report
2024 saw the opening of renovated and expanded Lubuto Model Library and new Center for Training and
Administration in Lusaka and the celebration of the Lubuto Library Network as a whole. Our annual report
not only covers these milestones, but focuses on Lubuto Libraries’ central function of
promoting reading with a wide range of activities and how our staff is able to better support this objective in more accommodating spaces.
Your support matters
The use of Lubuto’s libraries has grown to more than 6,000 visits per week, showing how hungry Zambia’s
children and youth are to read, learn, dream and expand their worlds. We recognize that there are many
competing needs in our world right now, and sometimes the need can feel overwhelming.
