Family Literacy Coordinator
Mable joined Lubuto in November 2016 as the Family Literacy Coordinator under the DREAMS Innovation Challenge grant, She is responsible for planning and facilitating the Family Literacy Program to keep adolescent girls and young women free of HIV. The Family Literacy Program targets young mothers (15-24) and their young children. Mable holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education degree from the University of Zambia as well as a certificate in psycho-social counseling. She is an experienced teacher, counselor and trainer and has extensive experience creating and developing curriculum, lesson plans and lesson content. Mable is passionate about education, literacy and women empowerment and has written and published online articles on these issues. She believes that all women can become independent and look after themselves and their families when given a chance and taught skills that will empower them.
