Esnart Mang’wato

Esnart first learned about Lubuto in 2017, when she joined us in Lusaka as a volunteer role model mentor under our DREAMS mentoring program at the Model Library. She moved from Lusaka to Nabukuyu in March to assume the role of ViiV Program Manager and has kicked off our ViiV activities by supporting the organization and facilitation of the coding camp, holding advocacy meetings with area traditional leaders, and launching a mentoring program for girls at the Mumuni Library. Before joining Lubuto, Esnart worked as a Social Mobilizer for Room to Read Zambia under the Girls Education Program (GEP) for 4 years, and more recently as a Program Coordinator for Direct Impact Africa. Esnart holds a diploma in gender studies (National Institute of Public Administration), a certificate in community-based work with children and youths (University of Kwazulu Natal) and currently pursuing a degree in Development Studies at Zambian Open University. She has a strong interest in working with children and youths who have experienced trauma.
