Brian DeMarchi is currently working with Ownermakers, a real estate company, and is also involved in various philanthropic endeavors such as Lubuto and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He recently was a regional account manager with Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for the accounts with large research universities in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. He has more than twenty years of experience in account management and consultative sales. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Brian spent eight years as account development executive at Factiva, a Dow Jones and Reuters joint venture, and two years in the capacity of account development executive for Dow Jones. His background also includes five years of work at MediaStream, where he managed the installation of electronic library systems for newspapers in the U.S. and South America. Additionally, Brian served as the President of the Special Libraries Association Philadelphia Chapter and the President of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties. Brian has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
